Solo performer Annela Flores is a singer-songwriter from Monrovia. Classically trained as a mezzo-soprano and experienced in musical theater, Annela brings her vibrant vocals and storytelling presence to the stage. She discovered her passion for soul and jazz while pursing a degree in music therapy from the University of the Pacific. Annela's debut album, Roots, was released in May 2016 and is a soulful storytelling influenced by folk, jazz, and R&B. Her authentic melodies and autobiographical lyrics convey a story for all listeners.
